March 2021 Update

One month ago, we released the Edgewonk 3 online trading journal. The feedback has been overwhelming and we have receieved counteless positive emails which we are very grateful for.

Since the release, we have updated Edgewonk 3 every Sunday to fix smaller bugs and improve usability based on our users’ feedback. If you want to open a support ticket, you can find our form here: Open support ticket

We also released a new journaling course that will take you by the hand and guide you through your Edgewonk trading journal, help you understand every feature and explain how to get the most out of your journal: Edgewonk 3 journaling course

Today, we released an update where you can enter trades with partial entries/exits that haven’t been fully closed. You can, thus, journal your trades more conveniently as you go. There is also a new video explaining the process: scaling in and out of trades

Our free plan enrollment is currently open for about 2 days per week. Although we conducted extensive beta tests and even underwent a penetration test before our official release, we want to make sure that all users have a pleasent user experience. This is why we are limiting the enrollment to the free plan at the moment. We monitor serverload and optimize the tech behind the scenes. Thus, we are able to offer a perfect journaling experience for all users and customers. In the (near) future, enrollment in the free plan will be possible without restrictions.

We also want to take the opportunity to update you on our current developments and what you can expect next in Edgewonk 3. Here is a list with the planned updates for the next few weeks/months:

  • Excel-based trade import
  • Excel export of Edgewonk data
  • Dark mode
  • Automatic calculation of profits/losses
  • Strategy testing lab (test new ideas and evaluate the effectiveness of new trading approaches)
  • Journaling of missed trades
  • URL based screenshot import for your trades
  • Duplicating of settings to create new journals

We are also going to add new imports for different trading platforms. More on that later.

And, of course, we won’t stop there and we have plans for lots of exciting new features that will be added over the next months.

Thanks again for the great feedback and happy journaling

Happy journaling
